Scandic Aalborg Øst

This is an upmarket chain 'motel' situated just off the E45 motorway and close to a Circle K fuel station. I was not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful and the room was fine for my needs (1 or 2 nights etc). What really surprised me was the excellent and popular restaurant with a small but varied menu. The portions were huge. Note, the restaurant is not open on a Sunday, so best check other options. There was a small bar and a garden area. Breakfast was good. The local fuel station was vey handy for snacks/drinks etc.

The staff were extremely helpful and supportive, the breakfast offering was good for the price paid.

Very tidy and quiet room. We had a very simple dinner, but a great one! The steak and the burger were excellent, very soft meat from the nearby zones. The breakfast was also fantastic. A lot of choice among different tasty home-made food, and also very well presented. Super coffee too. I am 100% satisfied about my stay.

Amazing breakfast with really good food and a big arrangement of choices. The location is good. Really close to the highway and not to outside of the city

Everything was very good, the room, the bed, and other facilities. I had a very nice dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was fabulous.
